Wireless Heavy Duty Chair Scale

The Charder MS5470 heavy duty digital chair scale is designed to safely weigh patients that have difficulty standing unassisted. It is intended to be pushed directly into patient rooms, so patients do not need to walk to weighing stations. After completing a round of measurements (up to 100 stored), results can be transmitted wirelessly to PC, making the MS5470 an excellent option for integration with EMR systems.

Features push handles for ease of transportation and four swiveling wheels with brakes, for safety during measurement.

(NOTE: The device is NOT a wheelchair, and should not be pushed when patient is sitting in seat)

EMR-ready for direct transfer to medical systems

The MS5470 is designed for customized wireless integration directly into your medical facility's EMR system, or through a gateway if needed. We've optimized the measurement workflow to ensure that the right measurements are being conducted for the right people, and transferred when ready!

1 Establish patient data

Establish patient ID/identifier, so device can quickly scan and save results during measurement procedure.

2 Input user ID and patient ID

Scan user and patient ID (or input manually using touchscreen) to ensure correct person is measured.

3 Conduct weight measurement

Press "HOLD" to confirm that results are to be saved and transferred after completion, and assist patient to sit in chair

4 Send measurement results to EMR system

Send results to EMR system with a single button press. If device isn't currently connected (ex: chair scale conducting measurement in patient's room), up to 100 results can be stored in device memory to be transferred when scale is returned to connectivity station.

5 View results on system

Compare results with previous measurements to analyze trends. Windows 7, 8, and 10 supported
