- Bariatric Care
Bariatric care requires more than a medical scale with higher capacity. Larger body size, reduced mobility, balance difficulties, and wheelchair use can all affect how safely and comfortably a patient can be weighed. Depending on the patient's condition, healthcare facilities may require:
- Wide and stable weighing platforms
- Handrails for additional support
- Low-profile wheelchair access
- Seated weighing
- Bed weighing for patients unable to transfer safely
Charder provides high-capacity stand-on scales, handrail scales, wheelchair scales, chair scales, and bed weighing systems, allowing healthcare professionals to select a suitable measurement method according to the patient's mobility rather than relying on a single solution for every bariatric patient.

MS3830
The high-capacity MS3830 wheelchair scale is portable and easily transported on rolling casters. Optional handrails can be attached for added stability. The low-profile ramp leads to a non-slip platform designed specially for patients with difficulty standing.
By taring the weight of the wheelchair, a patient's exact weight can be accurately measured.

MS3880
The high-capacity MS3880 wheelchair scale is portable and easily transported on rolling casters. Optional handrails can be attached for added stability. The low-profile ramp leads to a non-slip platform designed specially for patients with difficulty standing.
By taring the weight of the wheelchair, a patient's exact weight can be accurately measured.
Results can be automatically transferred to data management system via wireless transmission, making the MS3880 an excellent option for integration with EMR systems.

MS2504
The MS2504 medical handrail scale's low-profile, anti-slip platform, handrails, and high capacity load cells makes it an ideal weighing scale for patients who need additional support while standing. The platform is reinforced and wide enough to accommodate a chair for patients who cannot stand.

MS2580
The MS2580 medical handrail scale's low-profile, anti-slip platform, handrails, and high capacity makes it an ideal measurement station for patients who need additional support while standing.
The platform is reinforced and wide enough to accommodate a chair for patients who cannot stand, and the ultrasonic stadiometer automatically measures height in seconds, simplifying the BMI calculation process.
Despite the large platform, the MS2580 can be easily transported using the built-in castor wheels, and powered by rechargeable batteries when needed.
Measurement data can be exported wirelessly with a single button press to compatible EMR systems, simplifying workflow for medical staff.

MS2350
The heavy-duty MS2350 portable wheelchair scale is foldable, mobile, and space-saving. The low profile ramp can be folded up when not in use, and can be accessed from either direction.

MS5470
The Charder MS5470 heavy duty digital chair scale is designed to safely weigh patients that have difficulty standing unassisted. It is intended to be pushed directly into patient rooms, so patients do not need to walk to weighing stations. After completing a round of measurements (up to 100 stored), results can be transmitted wirelessly to PC, making the MS5470 an excellent option for integration with EMR systems.
Features push handles for ease of transportation and four swiveling wheels with brakes, for safety during measurement.
(NOTE: The device is NOT a wheelchair, and should not be pushed when patient is sitting in seat)

MS6001
The Charder MS6001 Digital Bed Scale enables the simple and precise weighing of bedridden patients and is an indispensable part of dialysis and intensive care. Two portable beam scales are placed next to the castors of the bed, and the bed is rolled onto the scale safely.
In addition, the MS6001 can be left under the patient's bed to closely monitor the weight of a patient within a set range. If the patient's weight fluctuates outside of that range, an alarm will beep to alert medical staff.

MS6080
The EMR-compatible variant of the classic MS60-series Bed Scale allows medical staff to view results on easy-to-read color touchscreen and wirelessly transmit results to EMR systems for a more streamlined and efficient measurement process.
The two portable beam scales are placed next to the bed, which is rolled onto the scale. After deducting the weight of the bed with the press of a button, the patient's exact weight can thus be measured.
